Francesca Ferragni Safari

If you can’t miss a single story in our Instagram, you already know that Francesca Ferragni and her boyfriend Riccardo Nicoletti embarked on the journey of a lifetime with us.

From 19th to 26th April 2019, Francesca and Riccardo had a breathtaking safari experience in the vast plains of Tanzania. 

Before starting their expedition safari, they had a relaxing day in Arusha, chilling by the pool and making a short excursion to the colourful local market.

They then headed to Lake Manyara National Park and fell immediately in love with the territory: They told us this is like the trailer. Well if that's the trailer I can't wait to see the entire movie.

The unique Ngorongoro Crater was next and it didn't disappoint. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah's ark inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest in the continent. 

It was now time to visit one of the most important ecosystems in the world - the unparalleled Serengeti National Park. Francesca was so enthusiastic that she considered it probably the most authentic place she has ever seen. Needless to say how abundant wildlife was in this nature gift and not even the fugacious leopard resisted to show up. Elephants, her favourite animal, came to say buongiorno during breakfast.

As the last day arrived and it was time to say goodbye, both Francesca and Riccardo confessed how they were already missing the wild vibes. 

This was their complete safari itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport  and overnight at Onsea House
Day 2 - Free day in Arusha. Overnight at Onsea House
Day 3 - Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for full day game drive. Overnight at The Manor
Day 4 - Free Morning and afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro region for overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Day 5 - Morning game drive in the crater. Afternoon transfer to Serengeti and overnight at Four Seasons
Day 6 - Full day game drive in the Serengeti. Overnight at Four Seasons
Day 7 - Full day in the Serengeti following the great migration. Overnight at Lemala Nanyukie
Day 8 - Early Morning Safari and flight back from Serengeti to Kilimanjaro airport.
